The Revamp

L&A has undergone a good amount of change in the last three months. And we are not even close to done. We foresee these implemented changes taking a few years to be finally completed. I’m hoping by the end of this year, everyone at L&A will be proud of what we were able to accomplish.

The first item we addressed was our branding. I always felt our services were the utmost in thorough and meticulous tax preparation and accounting procedures. But we never had a means of showing our brand to the neighborhood and prospective tax clients in general. So I enlisted a team of designers to develop a logo that lived up to the services we offer and to represent the firm. The logo we chose was sleek, professional and modern. And it also reminded us of the Terminator franchise, which of course is the real reason we picked it. In actuality, we surveyed over a hundred people and most agreed that our current logo was the winner. The logo can be seen here as well as all over the website, business cards, mugs, pens, stickers etc.

With all of this revamp, redesign and rebuilding occurring simultaneously with tax season currently, the goals remain consistent. Ultimately, L&A wants to grow its client base mostly because we have come across many close friends and family that have been put in bad situations by corporate preparers who don’t care about the little guy and inexperienced “side job” preparers who make too many mistakes and cause tons of problems. A good part of our business comes from cleaning up the messes of other tax preparers so to speak. To grow, we are using a few new marketing strategies and a huge increase in efficiency in everyday operations and logistics.

Our operations have improved slightly since beginning the revamp, with the use of cloud based accounting and new hardware and software that streamlines data entry and ultimately allows for more time to analyze each clients return.
