The figure of authority. A boss can take on many identities. A boss can be many things. A boss can ruin your day. A boss can inspire you to do great things. A boss can be a mentor. A boss yells at you for texting too much or taking personal phone calls. Some of us love our bosses. Some of us hate our bosses. Whatever the case may be, the boss is here to stay. Well, maybe. Many businesses or entities would not succeed without some kind of authority figure to call the shots and delegate day to day tasks. Perhaps this business structure will one day change.
I really love infographics. I find them to be informative, cool, user-friendly, and entertaining. Anytime I come across a good one I like to share it with the L&A community. Many of our clients are entrepreneurs and hold manager, director or executive level positions so this is very relevant. This particular infographic pertains to the characteristics of a great boss. So should you be the boss, or should you desire to one day be the boss, it may behoove you to adopt some of these characteristics to make yourself a great boss instead of a good, not-so-good or horrible boss. As you can see, it takes quite a bit to be considered a great leader. So to all the bosses out there, how many of these characteristics do you have?
