Various Means Of Receiving Refunds

Lavin & Associates CPA's servicing NYC, Westchester and Long Island, offers many ways in which our clients can receive their refunds. Below are some of the options our tax clients can choose from. Also below are links that allow you to track the status of both your federal tax refund and New York state tax refund.

Refund Options

Fast Checks are a great option if you wish to deduct your tax prep fees directly from your refund. You will typically receive your refund in about 10 days in check form, which will print in our office. There is a separate bank fee associated with this product.

This can be done as a bank product (for an additional fee) if you wish to deduct your tax preparation fees directly from your refund. It can also be done for free directly with the IRS. Both options will have your refund directly deposited into your bank account within 7-14 days.

This is a free option where your return is electronically filed directly with the IRS and you receive a check in the mail to your home. It can take anywhere from 3-6 weeks for you to receive your refund.

Please note that all tax refunds are ultimately in the hands of various federal taxing authorities and state taxing authorities. We have no control over the duration of time it takes for these taxing authorities to process your refunds. The time estimates offered above are only approximations and can differ from the actual amount of time it takes to receive your refund.
